Poster Print Giveaway!

16 March 2009

Exciting news, P&P readers! Online Poster Printing has generously offered to host Peach & Pearl’s first giveaway – one 16×20 poster print to a lucky reader!

I’m soon going to be faced with the prospect of decorating some blank walls myself and have decided to order a few poster prints, as well. I’m deciding between two options:

Both photos are of my father’s family farm, one of my favorite places.

To enter:
Check Online Poster Printing’s website, then comment below telling me what you would do with your poster print if you win! Make sure to include a valid email address so we have a way of contacting you. The contest will run until Friday, March 20 at midnight EST and the winners will be announced the following Monday. Contestants who live outside the US & Canada must pay shipping if they are chosen as a winner.

I can’t wait to see what you all have to say!

Your pictures are just beautiful! I think I would love to capture one of my daughter’s beautiful works of art and put that into poster form. I’m so worried about the ravages of time taking its toll o them but the poster would be forever. :)

I recently went on a trip to Northern California and would like to enlarge one of my beautiful coastal photographs for the poster print.

We really lucked out on our honeymoon and had some gorgeous weather and took lovely pictures of a state park and lake.

I’d probably create a little collage of our images and put that on a poster.

I’d choose a family picture and then frame it for my currently entirely bare bedroom walls!

I just came back from a paradisaical trip to an island off the Georgia coast, and I think I would make a print of pictures I have of the oak and palmetto lined path that traverses the island.

When I was in high school, I was extremely overweight. Obesity is the one thing most kids can agree on to join together to make fun of and I was on the receiving end of the constant remarks. Then I met this girl, Emily. She was tall and slender, smart and funny, and she liked *me*. I have a picture from the day Emily and I went to the beach. She looked all kinds of hot in her bikini and me looking, well, beached. I’d have that photo enlarged because today it represents a bright moment in a very dark time in my life. A time when I was accepted for precisely who I was at the time without regard to how I looked or what anybody but Emily thought about me. I’ve dropped the weight but I’ll never lose that memory. It’d be great to have that photo enlarged.

Sorry to take up so much space! firstname@myurl

I have this beautiful picture of Sacre Coeur Basilica seen through a large clockface at the Musee D’Orsay in Paris. My mom took the picture last May on our first big mother-daughter trip!

I would definitely frame a favorite picture of mine from a family trip to Martha’s Vineyard. I would love to have a wall in my room covered with a depiction of a place I love so much and that reminds me of my family.

I have made poster prints of some of my favorite shots from India; now I’d love to capture one from Peru as well. I’d like to eventually have a series of travel prints framed along one wall which illustrate my favorite locations and memories. As for a Peru poster, I would chose either a shot of Machu Picchu or of the stunning Lake Titicaca.

I got my boyfriend a blown-up picture of the (gorgeous) backyard at his parent’s house, one of his favorite places…I’d like to get a big picture of our summer place, one of MY favorite places, to go with it!

Those photos are absolutely beautiful. It looks so peaceful and serene. I especially love the shadows in the pictures.

I have pictures from my cruise down the Yangtze River in China. I love to have visual reminders of the beauty that can be found all over the world.

I would enlarge a print of my favorite photo of my late grandfather. He’s sitting in his famous red chair wearing his yellow cashmere sweater and holding a yellow lab puppy.

Hello. If I won this beautiful prize I would enlarge a picture of my very best friends. They are so beautiful jumping in the air. I love them, what can I say?
