All time favorites: Liz and Chris

22 July 2011

This week, I’m sharing my top five weddings from years past. These are the staples from my inspiration files, and they are no doubt the ones that will influence my and John’s wedding. Enjoy!

Today’s favorite wedding is another you’ve all seen before (in fact I’ve featured snippets from it here and here!), but it is a beauty. Perfect setting, perfect details, and perfect weather. You can see more from this wedding on photographer Aaron Delesie’s blog here, and see all the credits on Style Me Pretty’s posts here and here. This lovely was planned by Beth Helmstetter.

LOVE the crinkled ribbon on this bouquet.

Bow shoes! You know I love bows.

I’m not exactly sure what this is, but I like to imagine it’s an olive oil tasting bar. Is there anything better than crusty bread and a little plate of flavored olive oil?

I have a soft spot for striped paper straws :)

MAGICAL.

Mini food :)

Beautiful desserts and beautiful calligraphy: a winning combination.

I will be back with another favorite tomorrow!

Beautiful!! And thank you for re-linking to the paper straw post :) we are driving up to northeast harbor next week, but my sweet FI refuses to make a 2 hour detour for me to visit RPS haha. Looks like I'll be making a phone call!

Hi Devon! Too funny. But yes, they are great over the phone, so call away! :)

I love that bouquet wrap. I'm never one for the tradition ribbon wrap, so seeing something different always catches my eye. Just beautiful detail!
